Sometimes we all need a little more space, sometimes a lot, for those situations Logis-Tech can provide turn-key climate-controlled structures incorporating our patented Environment Stabilization Systems ESS©. Logis-Tech has a complete line of RH controlled tension fabric and pre-engineered steel structure solutions ranging from 1,000 square feet to well over 60,000 square feet to meet any temporary or permanent storage requirement. We are also, experts conversion of existing spaces to sealed humidity controlled spaces.
Systems are tailored to your unique specifications for size, entry requirements (doors), annual ambient conditions, snow and wind loads and of course your needed internal environmental conditions. All structures are carefully designed with attention to seals and/or seams to help reduce air and moisture intrusion and provide a more stabilized and energy efficient internal storage environment.
All our buildings carry warranties for at least 10 years and some even up to 35!
Logis-Tech offers a full range of engineering services from site planning, site preparation, building design and erection and post-installation services.
Pre-Engineered Relocatable Buildings
Logis-Tech provides a complete line of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings (PEB) to meet any protection or storage requirement. Every PEB is designed to meet or exceed site-specific building code requirements. Typical shelter sizes range from 1,250 – 30,000 square feet. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty on the PEB is 35 years. All PEB are designed and installed with special attention paid to ensure all seams are sealed to help maintain a stable, leak-free environment for stored material, equipment, vehicles or aircraft. In addition to the standard shelter system configuration, optional equipment and features are available such as, roll-up and sectional overhead doors, personnel doors, exhaust fans, hoists, roof and wall accessories and a wide range of colors.
Tension Fabric Relocatable Buildings
Logis-Tech provides a complete line of Tension Fabric Structures (TFS) to meet any protection or storage requirement. The TFS are designed to meet or exceed site-specific building code requirements. Typical shelter sizes range from 1,200 – 30,000 square feet. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty on the Tension Fabric membrane is 10 years. All TFS are designed and installed with special attention paid to ensure all seams are sealed to help maintain a stable, leak-free environment for stored material, equipment, vehicles or aircraft. Tension Fabric Structures can be quickly installed on any surface including dirt, asphalt or concrete to provide protected storage space for material, equipment, vehicles or aircraft. These fabric structures can be disassembled easily and are fully relocatable. In addition to the standard shelter system configuration, optional equipment and features are available such as, roll-up and sectional overhead doors, personnel doors, interior and exterior lighting, exhaust fans, LED lighting, electrical receptacles, interior lining, solar powered systems, lightning protection, etc.
Conversion of Existing Spaces
Logis-Tech will convert an existing space, room or building (tension fabric, pre-engineered steel or masonry structure) to a Controlled Humidity Protection (CHP) facility to protect material, avionics, equipment, vehicles or aircraft from the harmful effects of moisture-induced corrosion. Through a systematic approach, LTi will evaluate a structure’s suitability for conversion to a CHP facility to ensure that the CHP system will perform efficiently. If the facility can be sealed to maintain a CHP environment, LTi will convert it at a considerable savings over new construction. Typical modifications include repairing cracks in walls and around windows, capping vents and drains, and installing weather-tight seals around equipment and personnel doors to prevent air and moisture intrusion. With the appropriately sized air dehydration unit and a control system, the interior space is controlled and maintained to the proper Relative Humidity (RH) level to stop corrosion, mildew and mold.
Logis-Tech offers a complete climate control solution. Each Controlled Humidity Project is equipped with a Controlled Humidity Protection (CHP) system to provide total equipment protection.
CHP is a scientifically proven approach that stops moisture-induced corrosion on material, equipment, combat vehicles and aircraft by establishing and maintaining a low relative humidity (< 50% RH) environment around critical components or the entire end item. At this RH level, moisture-induced corrosion is essentially stopped and because corrosion is a cumulative process, the goal is to maintain the equipment in a low RH environment whenever the equipment is not being used.
Logis-Tech refined and improved its CHP process as part of a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) project which culminated in the development of its patented Environment Stabilization System (ESS®), including its Management Automated Reporting System (MARS™), a data acquisition and reporting system providing web-based, 24/7 status reporting.
