Mold is present everywhere, indoors and outdoors. There are more than 100,000 species of mold and at least 1,000 species of mold are common to the U.S. Mold is most prevalent in environments where there is water or dampness.
HVAC is not dehumidification
A frequent comment we hear from customers is “I already have HVAC climate control; I don’t have a humidity problem.” In some cases this might be true, or true at some times of the year, but HVAC as a method of dehumidification in energy inefficient and haphazard as to the long term results.
