Mobile Dehumidification Units (MDUs) provide a stable relative humidity (RH) in and around critical systems and components, cabin and on-board storage areas of aircraft, thereby eliminating the problems associated with moisture-induced corrosion, mold and mildew. MDUs also function as mobile low-humidity air sources to dehumidify storage containers, arms rooms, storage rooms or just about any material storage area that requires dehumidification for protection of material stored within.
LOGIS-TECH (LTi) offers a complete line of MDUs with capacities from 150-750 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM). Each machine utilizes self-rejuvenating desiccant wheel technology and can be equipped with a variety of control designs for precise RH control and is available in a variety of corrosion-resistant colors/coatings.
These specialized MDU's are engineered to meet stringent requirements for use outdoors on a flight line, in a hangar or anywhere that an expeditionary, mobile dehumidifying system is required. Using container, aircraft (AIA) or vehicle (VIA) specific interface adapters MDUs can be utilized on a variety of aircraft by just changing the AIA or for storage container or room applications any opening that can be used to duct low-humidity into the controlled space.
