Air National Guard
Hawaii National Guard (HIANG) continues to reap the benefits of Controlled Humidity Protection (CHP) for their F-15 aircraft, aerospace ground equipment (AGE) and Avionics Immediate Shop (AIS) since the introduction of CHP in July 2006. The application of dehumidification to HIANG F-15 aircraft on the flight line has not only significantly reduced monthly maintenance actions and improved mission readiness but has also provided substantial cost and maintenance man-hour avoidance. CHP for HIANG AGE has also paid dividends by reducing corrosion corrective/repair actions for the unit. HIANG KC-135 aircraft on the flight line will also be reaping the benefits of dehumidification as installation of its CHP flight line system will be begin in September of this year.

LTI’s own Michael Price and his team placed first in the four-kilometer event in the 40+ men’s race at the USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships in Pennsylvania this summer. Michael Price (Lake Ridge, Va.), Don Saroff (Alexandria, Va.), Grant Soma (Manassas, Va.) and Simon Walker (Bethesda, Md./NCVC-Inova Health-Va) with a time of 4:48.021.
